The course provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to plan, prepare and deliver a safe and effective activity session for a group of participants. This Award is suitable for people teaching groups out in the community, schools, and active leisure settings.

The qualification comprises of 3 units:
- Principles of training
- Planning an activity session
- Delivering an activity session
What are the entry requirements?
This qualification is open at all, and no specific experience is required. Learners can from be 14+ to adults
What qualification does it give the learners?
The Active IQ Award in Leading Health-Related Activity Sessions at Level 2 on the qualifications and Credit Framework. The Award has direct links to the National Curriculum and Every Child Matters. (KS4 Learners). |
