Qualifications to Teach Children and Young People

We offer a range of Qualifications to launch your career in teaching fitness to children or to enhance your skills in teaching this sector of the population.

The training we offer is split into three categories:

Each category specializes in an age group, and each one carries an industry recognized Level 2 Qualification awarded through Active IQ.
The training develops and adapts skills to motivate children and young people to take part in physical activity sessions. Our tutors have extensive knowledge and practical skills to pass onto you and enable you to individualise your teaching style and bring out your personality.

These qualifications we class as an entry level into teaching physical activity to children and after completion of one or more of these qualifications we recommend you continue your professional development and enhancing your CV by taking one of our many pathways onto achieving the Mojo Diploma in Children’s Fitness.

This training has assist us in growing & improving our junior offering - allowing 11-15 year old to train in our gyms & start on the road to a healthy lifestyle.

The training is comprehensive & covers all core elements required by our teams for their day to day operations. REPs accreditation is also very important, this ensures our staff are externally recognised to train adolescents.

To date since 2007 MOJO has trained 590 DC staff and we plan to continue with more training every year.

Before this, MOJO trained 110 DC Instructors in Integrated Balance Reps CPD workshop (Fitball exercises in the gym) & also delivered training for 62 DC Instructors in Childrens Physical Activity in 2006."
