Who we are

Mojo Training set up in 2002 to deliver qualifications and training upon request from employers. We quickly understood that employers needed more in the way of qualifications and training for teaching children.
We design, write and teach our own courses as well as delivering nationally recognised qualifications.
We are a valued partner with Operators in the Active Leisure Industry and Early Years Settings.

Experts in children’s physical activity

Dawn Fairey, the company director, advises the awarding body on qualification units, syllabus and assessment criteria for the qualifications we deliver.

The Mojo Team all have backgrounds in Fitness Instructing, College Lecturing, Childcare, Nursing, or Leisure management and have a great deal of experience in teaching childrens’ fitness in Leisure centres, Out of School Clubs, Parent and Toddler groups and Birthday party businesses as well as being part of action groups for Healthy Schools and School Governors!

Over the past three years Dawn has written (and continues to write) the student manuals and tutor lecture packs to support Active IQ qualifications.
She has also consulted and written articles, training manuals and student support material for CYQ, Premier Training International and Fitness Industry Education.
The Mojo Team have piloted several qualifications when they have been launched by Active IQ.
